File Transfer Service

Files delivered straight to
a folder on your computer

Files travel from your browser straight to your computer, encrypted before they leave the browser. The server only relays ciphertext and keeps no copy.

Three steps per transfer

The agent runs in the background and connects outward to the server, so no firewall port needs to be opened.

01

Install the agent

Install once per computer. It reconnects automatically at startup and reports its availability.

02

Choose a device

After signing in, pick the destination device. You choose the receiving folder in settings.

03

Drop and send

Drop files into the transfer area. They are sent in chunks and marked complete only when the hash matches.

Built for everyday work

Transfer is only the beginning. Devices, permissions and records all live under one account.

Choose the receiving folder

Set the receiving location per device so files land where you already work, instead of being moved out of the downloads folder.

End-to-end encryption

Files are encrypted with AES-256-GCM inside the browser. The key is agreed between you and that computer, so the server cannot read the content.

Offline delivery

If the other computer is off, the request waits in a queue and is delivered automatically on its next connection.

Cross-platform agent

One account can hold several computers. macOS (Apple Silicon and Intel), Windows and Linux can all receive.

Guest delivery

Create a one-way grant with a guest code. Guests can only drop files into the inbox you open.

Integrity check

Every file is hashed, and marked complete only when both ends agree.

Transport and permissions are scoped to the account

Encrypted content, layered permissions, signed updates. Devices and guests hold separate grants, and either can be revoked instantly.

End-to-end encryption
Files leave the browser encrypted with AES-256-GCM; keys exist only on your device and the receiving computer.
Token storage
The database stores only token hashes; connection tickets are single-use and expire in thirty seconds.
Signed updates
Agent updates carry a digital signature; a mismatched signature is refused.
Activity record
Every action is recorded with device, time and outcome.
Device verification
A device must be registered to the account before it can receive anything.
Guest grants
Grants are one-way drops, limited to that inbox.
Data retention
Files sent to a computer are not stored in the cloud. Only when the recipient has no client and uses the browser inbox are files held for up to seven days, then deleted automatically.

FAQ

Do I need to install anything?+
The receiving computer needs the agent, installed once. The sending side only needs a browser.
Are files stored in the cloud?+
Files sent to a computer are not stored in the cloud; the server relays ciphertext only. If the recipient uses the browser inbox instead, files are held for up to seven days and then deleted.
Which operating systems are supported?+
macOS (Apple Silicon and Intel), Windows and Linux can all run the receiver. Phones and tablets need no install — use the browser to send files to a connected computer.
How do I invite a guest?+
Generate a guest code on the guests page; the other person enters it and a grant is created. You also choose which inbox to open. Grants are one-way, so guests cannot read your other folders.
Is there a file size limit?+
Up to 4GB per file to a computer that has the client installed. With the browser inbox the limit is 12MB per file and files are held for up to seven days.
Can the server see my files?+
No. Files are encrypted inside your browser before sending and the server relays ciphertext only, so it cannot read the content. It can still see file names, sizes and timestamps.
